The Bechyně golf course is located directly within the Černická obora nature reserve, which was founded by Peter Vok of Rosenberg in 1586, and lies a mere 7 km from the town of Bechyně. A rectangular meadow measuring 500 x 200 meters can be found in the middle of the reserve, where more than twenty, long-standing trees grow.
